After scrolling down my favourite bookmarks, I finally decided to write this post about TED - Ideas worth spreading. It is a fantastic site, truly is. I honestly regret that I haven't watched through all of the videos posted at the site.
So, what makes TED so unique? The ideas! And what do I mean by that? By that I mean it is remarkable that so many people with so great ideas take the time to present their thoughts to the whole world through TED. There are just way too many great videos uploaded there about which to talk in more detail, so I let you to decide which ones are the best.
The presentations are called 'Talks' and the topics range from Technology and Science to Arts and Business. So there really are ideas for all kinds of tastes.
Please take the time to visit TED, because I believe you, too, can find great ideas there worth spreading.
If you would like to visit the blog of TED, then simply click here.
If you are interested in finding out who the speakers appearing in TED are, visit this link.
P.S. TED itself promotes on its blog 100 Websites You Should Know and Use. Go ahead and see them out. I hope I have done everything in my power to provide you with as much information about TED as possible.
So, did you find some ideas worth spreading?
P.S. I found out that most of the TED talks are also available on Youtube. They are uploaded by the director of TED (don't know who he/she is, though).
A very successful 2008 to you!
